We are trying to get it cleaned up and ready for landscaping
before the weather turns anyway it went really well today until I found a way to get the backhoe stuck. I am a little worried it never got out of the fifties today and it is supposed to freeze tonight and I have a lot to to before it is to cold to varnish the ceiling.

These show one more step to getting the house closed up for the winter. Yesterday while kneeling on the roof putting on the foam I hadn't noticed but the roof was so hot I burnt my knees, so today was really hard to continue kneeling but I got it done.

It has been a very productive week, all of the first floor sofit has been applied and trimmed to length. Wednesday evening I picked up the doors and hardware what a load that was. We installed all three doors and hardware today, they look great. Tomorrow Mary and I are heading up to Grand Rapids
they are having a lumber show and the Garn boiler will be on display. We need to make a final decision on the heating system and as of this time it is the Seton boiler or the Garn boiler.

On labor day I went up and started cutting trees for the electrical service. Today we went up and started putting in the windows I only fit 9 of the fifteen windows on the trailer and they were almost all left opening, oops. On Wednesday I will take up the last six windows (right) opening and we will get them in. I was really worried about mulling two windows together but the Pella windows go together like a charm.

This is a true blue ribbon week, We closed wall 18 on Monday
, wall 19 on Tuesday and wall 20 THE LAST WALL on Friday! We are very excited and at this time it is still to new to be nostalgic about the last wall. We started the cord wood on May 10Th and here it is September 4Th. It has been a long road up hill and barefoot in the snow but it is done. I would like to thank my brother for his over the top support.
