Slowly I turned
I know it doesn't look like much but I feel good about what I accomplished today. By the way anyone that thinks they have a faster way to put the cord wood up is invited to give it a try. Just set it up using the comments section. This is to Jim not bad for doing it myself.

PULPERIZER 2009
Yes it's true the new pulperizer 2009 does slice and dice with the best of them. But getting back to the real world we started the 9TH wall today and it was so hot ( 91) that we had to hang a tarp to give a little shade. I really believe that we have the Paper Crete recipe the way we want it, I know it has taken a long time but as we round the horn to the front of the house the timing is perfect.

Windows and Doors
Anthony I thought you would like this photo the double window boxes realy take up a lot of the area between the posts . I know it looks a little odd with the hangers I nailed to the side tops of the box. It is the beginning of the easy part it will be, door- dbl window- dbl window- dbl window, dbl window- DBL door- dbl window dbl window. Well anyway I am looking forward to this part. I almost forgot the door is not centered in the panel so that there will be room for the HAL 2000 which will be located in the space beside the door.

One third of the way
On Monday June 15Th It was official as linear footage goes we are one third of the way. We got four batches of the mortar mixed and installed on Monday and it was great, but then Tuesday came along and put the kibosh on the celebration. The first batch of the mortar was so wet without the cement that I decided to not even add the cement and to restart with new pulp. We put in a block window and started the eighth wall it is going to rain for a couple of days we will see what we can get done anyway.

kneeling is humbling
Pointing the start of a new wall is a humbling experience it reminds me that I am not a spring chicken anymore. OK well we started the 6Th wall and we should be able to set the window box on it tomorrow. We should also be able to just about close up the fifth wall which is great.

June first
It was another beautiful day and we had the opportunity to enjoy it plus get a lot done at the land. The fourth wall ( bottle wall) is now done and we added to the fifth wall but what really doesn't show is the fact that we finish cut enough wood to complete 2 walls.
