I know it has been a while but I have been keeping busy believe me. First I cut the last of the oak posts for the porch, see the attached picture. Second when it was time to cut these posts Jim was up helping and I decided to remeasure the already erected post again and low and behold the last two posts I cut in the assembly of wood henge were cut two inches shorter than all of the others. OK I know I am a dupa! Any
way Jim helped me jack it up and reset it. Next oh yeah I have to build the boxes that the windows and the doors will eventually will sit in they are 18 inches deep and use a lot of wood we had to biscuit joint boards together to make the depth. So now everyone is up to date , oops not quite the porch needed some more oak beams and Jason Frank from Woodland Improvements cut them for me today, we may get the porch going this weekend.
