no way we can get the smoker grill going today I mean its drizzeling and we have to plow out the driveway. Oh Well thats at least 14 to 16 inches of snow on the roof and the driveway. also I forgot my camera Anthony took a couple of pictures with his blackberry.

I'm just glad that we got the roof on this thing before the snow started coming down. This photo shows the second story of the building. those openings will be windows in the finished house. If you look at the photo in the last post you can see that we tarped off the building and added wood paneling to protect everything during the winter. I like this photo. It shows how much "Home Grown" engineering has gone into this endeavour.

This is my first entry to cordial wood my fantastic son set up the web site for me as a Christmas gift. Thanks Anthony. This picture is the last photo I took before Christmas and it is way out of date as you can see the snow is only a couple of inches, Christmas morning 2008 the snow depth at cordial wood is about 14 inches. The depth of the snow is not the defining statement for us this December but the darn below zero temperatures sure as heck have been. By the way anyone finding this site welcome, and I hope you find some fun and entertainment as I continue with my journey in alternative building. Merry Christmas.

This is the first post on your new Blog! Merry Christmas Dad. I have set your blog up so that it leverages most of the free photosharing and hosting websites. It's not completely done. Some of the things I need to do will have to be setup from your computer and/or I am going to have to figure some stuff out.
